Running back Cam Akers was arguably the best offensive player during the spring game last month. In addition, cornerback Stanford Samuels III, tight end Tre’ McKitty, defensive end Joshua Kaindoh and linebacker Adonis Thomas all had their moments.
Florida State’s 2017 class, however, is not limited to the seven players who enrolled early. Some of those who have yet to arrive could actually have the biggest impact among FSU freshmen this season.
