With quarterback Thomas Sirk recovered and ready for practice next week after an offseason Achilles injury, Duke has enough starters back to form a solid offense.
Sirk is among six starters back from Duke’s 2015 team that went 8-5 and won the school’s first bowl game since 1961. Still, there are question marks regarding the five positions where new starters will step in.
