Duke basketball looking to build elite 2017 class

Duke’s basketball staff is charged with juggling a bunch of important tasks even though the middle of summer is a long way from the heat of the basketball season.

The Blue Devil coaches are preparing a very talented team for next season, coaching Team USA in preparation for the Rio Olympics and, also, recruiting players in the 2017 class to keep the team near the top of college basketball.

On that last front, Duke needs to target a host of top players since it figures to have five or six scholarships available for the 2017-18 season.
