Duke enters this season as the favorite to win the ACC, in part because the Blue Devils welcome the nation’s top recruiting class. In a Wednesday interview with The David Glenn Show, however, Mike Krzyzewski said the strength of his roster lies elsewhere.
“It’s a very interesting group,” the Duke head coach said. “Really our best players at this point are our upperclassmen. They’ve been through it. They know us. They’re instinctively reactive to what we want. The freshmen are doing a great job, but they’re learning to be instinctively reactive.”
