Florida State added an in-state, 4-star safety to its 2017 class on Wednesday as Daniel Wright pledged to the Seminoles:

A 6-1, 187-pound prospect, Wright is No. 12 at his position in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is one of nine players committed to the Seminoles’ 2017 group.
Wright will play for football powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., this fall. He previously attended Cardinal Gibbons High School.
