A 6-foot-3, 313-pound redshirt senior was named an AP All-American last December. During the 2020 season, Madden collected 64 knockdown blocks.
There’s size and experience (he’s already 24), but Madden is an advanced metrics darling, too. Pro Football Focus named Madden the top offensive guard in the 2020 season. Madden’s run-blocking grade (93.0) was the best amongst interior linemen.
The FSU visit should come shortly after the NCAA allows for in-person recruiting — starting June 1.
Two weeks back, Florida State also landed Notre Dame transfer offensive guard Dillan Gibbons.
