The Virginia Tech Hokies have picked up steam lately on the recruiting front this off-season with 14 commitments as the month of June comes to a close, ranking in the Top 20 nationally by multiple outlets.
Among the highlights have been landing a trio of four-star athletes on the outside in Armani Chatman, Darryle Simmons and Tre Turner at the receiver and defensive back positions. They also flipped Dudley (NC) corner D.J. Crossen from UNC.
But of all the commitments the Hokies have landed with the 2017 campaign just a couple months away from commencing, only one though is an offensive lineman; three-star John Harris out of Hoschton (GA). It’s certainly an area that needs addressing considering…
