Duke basketball announces no fans at home games for 2020-21 season

Picking up where the school left off with fall sports, Duke basketball will not have fans in the stands at Cameron Indoor Stadium this season. In fact, no spectators will be at home games for Duke winter sports.

It’s no surprise to see this decision; schools must be very careful evaluating the risks of having fans in attendance this season, amidst COVID-19. However, it will genuinely be a shock to see Cameron Indoor — as rowdy and raucous of an environment as we have in North American sports — empty.
