Larry Fedora comments on future in interview with David Glenn

 

Larry Fedora has made North Carolina a major player in the ACC over the last two years, guiding the Tar Heels to the league championship game for the first time ever last season.

As UNC improves as a program, though, Fedora has become a hotter name on the coaching circuit.

Reports have already named Fedora as a possible candidate for the LSU job, and others could come knocking depending on which positions open up at the end of the year.

Fedora was on The David Glenn Show for a Monday interview when he was asked what he’d tell Tar Heel fans who are worried he might bolt for another job.

“My message to them is, ‘Look, I love being here at Carolina. Don’t worry about a thing; all we need to do is worry about winning on this Friday,'” the head coach said. “If everybody will focus on that alone, we’ll be in good shape.”

Friday, of course, is when UNC hosts NC State for its regular-season finale. Fedora also talked about that rivalry, as well as his relationship with former Tar Heel coach Mack Brown, during the conversation:
