Chase Hattley has committed to NC State.
Two weeks, Hattley announced his final three programs; this list included NC State, along with South Carolina and Oklahoma. However, Hattley chose to remain local and run with the Wolfpack.
Hattley is a local prospect; the 6-foot-3, 205-pound safety plays his prep ball for Panther Creek in Cary, North Carolina. 247 Sports ranks Hattley as the No. 22 safety in the 2021 class and a top-20 overall prospect in North Carolina

NC State’s recruitment of Hattley was led by defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Tony Gibson. Safeties coach Joe DeForest also played a key role in the process.
With Hattley’s pledge, NC State’s 2021 recruiting class jumps up to No. 30 nationally (No. 5 in the ACC) with 19 commits. Hattley is the 11th prospect in NC State’s 2021 class that’s from the state of North Carolina.
