Brandon Cisse is the newest member of NC State’s 2023 recruiting class — as the Wolfpack have landed three commitments in the last week.
Cisse, a 3-star cornerback from Sumter (SC) Lakewood, received scholarship offers from over 20 programs; however, NC State was the first Power Five program to extend an offer. NC State cornerbacks coach Brian Mitchell led the recruitment of Cisse, with help from offensive line coach Charley Wiles.

Currently, NC State’s 2023 class sits at six commitments, including three prospects from North Carolina: 4-star tight end Javonte Vereen, 3-star offensive tackle Darion Rivers and 3-star quarterback Lex Thomas. Cisse is the first commit from South Carolina in the class.
Obviously, NC State will look to add to its 2023 class, and there are two key in-state prospects set to visit soon. In fact, both 4-star wide receiver Noah Rogers, a Top 50 prospect in the 2023 recruiting cycle, and 3-star wide receiver Nathan Leacock are set to visit next week (June 22).
During an interview with recruiting analyst Michael Clark of Pack Pride, the 6-foot cornerback mentioned that he’s working to help land addition 2023 prospects, like 3-star linebacker Stanquan Clark and 3-star athlete Zack Myers.
