Nathan Leacock: Can NC State or UNC gain the inside edge for the 3-star WR?

As the calendar pushes deeper into June, the recruitment process of wide receiver Nathan Leacock continues to pick up. Leacock, a 3-star prospect from Raleigh (NC) Millbrook HS, has three visits on the docket — once he returns from the Overtime OT7 event out in Las Vegas.

On the horizon, Leacock has a visit set for UNC on June 17. After that, the 6-foot-3 wideout has a visit to NC State (June 22). This is the same date that prized 4-star wide receiver Noah Rogers, a Top 50 prospect in the 2023 class, will visit NC State.

Following that, Leacock will head further west to take an official visit at Tennessee.

Recently, Leacock attended a prospect camp at NC State, too.

Joker Phillips, NC State’s wide receivers coach, is the team’s lead recruiter for the talented Leacock, who is considered a Top 20 prospect in North Carolina. 247 Sports also slots Leacock as a Top 600 player in the 2023 class, according to their composite rankings.
