Duke, NC State in the running for 4-star forward

There’s always a premium placed on talented big men in basketball. And why not? Finding them tends to be much harder these days than the flashy point guards or sharp shooting wings.

So it should come as no surprise that David McCormack, a burly 6-foot-10, 260-pound center out of Virginia, is such a hot commodity by some of the nation’s premier programs. McCormack, a native of Norfolk transferred to prep powerhouse Oak Hill Academy before his junior season, has a Top 6 consisting of Duke, Kansas, NC State, Oklahoma State, UCLA and Xavier.
