Earlier in the day on Wednesday (Jan. 30), NC State and its chancellor Randy Woodson announced a major hire. The university has hired Boo Corrigan — son of former ACC Commissioner Gene Corrigan — to become its new director of athletics. After spending the last eight years as Army’s AD, he will fill the shoes of Debbie Yow, who is set to retire later this year after nine years at NC State.
It has been my honor and privilege to serve as the @GoArmyWestPoint Athletic Director over the past 8 years. My family and I love West Point and will miss the West Point community tremendously. We are excited to announce our next adventure with @PackAthletics. BEAT NAVY!
