Capel: Jefferson not ready for practice

Amile Jefferson’s return to Duke isn’t any closer 10 days after Duke’s most important senior suffered a bone bruise in his right foot.

Duke associate head coach Jeff Capel said Monday that Jefferson hasn’t been cleared to begin practicing with the No. 18 Blue Devils again.

“It’s still day-to-day,” Capel said.
