According to a tweet from Joe Giglio, the assault charges brought against NC State’s Eric Lockett have been dismissed.

There was video evidence in Lockett’s favor that led to the dismissal

Lockett, a graduate transfer from FIU, played in 22 games for NC State this season — making two starts. He’s averaged five points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Lockett last played back on Feb. 9 (14 minutes) in the home win over Pittsburgh.
After being absent from the team’s Feb. 13 win over Syracuse in Raleigh, charges were brought against Lockett on Feb. 14. He was suspended following the incident.
