Florida State was cruising in its eventual 52-8 blowout win over Charleston Southern when disaster struck for the Seminoles. Defensive standout Derwin James was making a routine tackle in the third quarter when he tore cartilage in his left knee, putting FSU in a vulnerable position just before the team has to make its way west to play Louisville at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
