Ranked the No. 82 overall player in his class by Scout.com, White committed to the Yellow Jackets last September. The Marietta, Georgia, native signed with Tech as part of a three-man recruiting class assembled by former coach Brian Gregory.
If White is granted his release, sophomore Abdoulaye Gueye and redshirt freshman Sylvester Ogbonda will be the only power forwards on next year’s projected roster.
