Duke’s final home game of the season also marked its final push to land 5-star power forward Mohamed Bamba.
The 6-11 Bamba, from New York City, spent Tuesday night sitting behind Duke’s bench as the Blue Devils toppled Florida State, 75-70.
On his official visit, Bamba spent time with Blue Devil guard signee Alex O’Connell. During the second half, as the Blue Devils were salting away their 11th ACC win of the season, Bamba and O’Connell accepted the Cameron Crazies’ chanted invitation to come sit with them in the student section.
This week’s trip to Duke was the fourth of Bamba’s official visits. The big man visited Kentucky on Jan. 20, Texas on Oct. 28 and Michigan on Sept. 2.
Kentucky and Duke are the favorites to land him. Which program holds the edge?
