Virginia Tech entering 2016 with stronger backfield

One of the top storylines in Blacksburg this month as Virginia Tech engages in preseason camp is how the Hokies’ running back rotation will look under new head coach Justin Fuente.

Memphis was mostly known as a pass-first team under Fuente, who is regarded as a quarterback whisperer after developing future pros in Andy Dalton and Paxton Lynch during his coaching career.

But don’t count out the possibility that Virginia Tech could be a run-heavy squad in Year 1 under Fuente.
