Notre Dame recently offered Joshua Ross, a 6-1, 210-pound inside linebacker who hails from West Bloomfield, Michigan. Ross received the offer during an unofficial visit in South Bend Sunday, according to 247sports. Ross announced the offer on his personal Twitter account as well.
Ross is ranked as the third-best inside linebacker in the 2017 class and 114th-best player overall according to 247sports Composite. The 4-star recruit has also received offers from seven other schools. Among that list is Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and fellow ACC opponent, Pittsburgh.
Dating back to 2013, Ross has had unofficial visits to five different schools: Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and of course, Notre Dame.
It is believed that Notre Dame jumped into his top three immediately after the visit and ensuing offer, according to 247sports. Michigan seems to be the favorite to land Ross, followed by Michigan State and Notre Dame.
