Multiple Virginia Tech pledges backed off their commitments to the Hokies after Frank Beamer announced earlier this month that this season would be his last, and one of those prospects is now UNC-bound.
According to InsideCarolina.com, cornerback Myles Wolfolk switched his commitment to the Tar Heels on Sunday. Wolfolk is the fourth defensive back to join North Carolina’s 2016 class.
A native of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Wolfolk attends Wise High School. He is the second player from his state to choose UNC this cycle, joining Oxon Hill, Maryland, defensive back Gregory Ross.
This fall, Wolfolk has seven interceptions and 30 tackles. He is rated the No. 23 senior in Maryland on the 247Sports Composite.
