North Carolina has agreed to a home-and-home football series with the Charlotte 49ers in 2024 and 2025. Carolina will play host to the 49ers on Sept. 7, 2024 and will play at Charlotte on Sept. 6, 2025.
Charlotte is a member of Conference USA and is playing its first season in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
