North Carolina picked up its third commitment in the 2015 class on Monday when quarterback prospect Anthony Ratliff chose the Tar Heels. Hailing from Matthews, N.C., the Butler High School standout completed 59 percent of his passes last season for 2,362 yards and 30 touchdowns while only tossing six interceptions. As a junior, he also rushed for 1,443 yards and tallied another 20 scores on the ground.
Butler fell to Mallard Creek in the NCHSAA 4AA semifinal in December.
According to Inside Carolina, Ratliff also had offers from Clemson, N.C. State and Mississippi State.
