Former North Carolina shooting guard Rashad McCants recently told ESPN’s Outside the Lines that UNC tutors wrote some of his papers in college, and he believes that coach Roy Williams knew about it.
In the immediate aftermath, former Tar Heel basketball players questioned McCants’ sanity:
That boy is certified bonkers.

Some athletes from the football side also shared their thoughts:
Let Mr. McCants or whoever else come and take this anatomy class for me and then tell me I have it easy! I’ll gladly step aside & watch lol

Every week it seems like an athlete comes out and bashes the University, blaming everybody but themselves.

The most surprising response, though, came from 2004 ACC player of the year Julius Hodge:
As much as I delight in minimal anguish for UNC.. This dude McCants is a certified “nut job”. Anyone who knows him know that #dontbelievehim
