ACC programs keeping eye on former Butler commitment

David Caraher, a 2017 small forward prospect, was committed to the Butler Bulldogs for several months. But after he decommitted in July, several programs started showing high interest in the talented junior — including a pair of ACC programs.

Caraher, a 6-6 resident of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, committed to the Bulldogs back in February, but decided this summer to open up his commitment and take a good look at several other schools that had begun the process of recruiting him.

He has heard from North Carolina, Wake Forest, NC State, Davidson, Longwood, Marquette, Georgetown, Clemson, Citadel, Appalachian State, Houston Baptist, Princeton, Richmond, and St. Louis.

North Carolina and Wake Forest, along with Longwood, Richmond, Houston Baptist, Princeton, and Georgetown, have been the ones showing the strongest interest of late and have consistently been in discussion with him.[hr]
