Players and coaches don’t like to project too far in advance, though at times they’ll talk about the team’s goals for the season. Once the season starts, “next opponent” is the only answer you’ll get if you ask a player what’s on his mind.
But before the season even begins, when players are allowed to discuss the big picture, sometimes you’ll get a glimpse of what they’re really thinking. And Justin Jackson is really thinking about a Final Four in his hometown of Houston.
“Coming off of last year and the work everybody put in this summer, everybody has confidence, but me individually, I have another level of confidence,” Jackson said when he sat down with David Glenn at ACC Media Day.
