Louisville and Kentucky played yet another battle for the ages on the hardwood the day after Christmas.
Once again, the Wildcats prevailed over the ACC’s newest program, claiming a 75-73 victory that went down to the last minute. With the loss, Rick Pitino’s Cardinals fell to 1-8 against Kentucky since John Calipari arrived in Lexington.
But it’s what happened moments after the game that had the most people talking in the ensuing days. As he was walking towards the locker room near the tunnel in Rupp Arena after the game, Pitino appeared to possibly give the middle finger to some Kentucky fans who were heckling him.
