The date is set for the 2014-15 meeting between Louisville and Kentucky.
The storied rivalry will continue this year on Dec. 27 for what’s being billed as the 2014 Basketball Hall of Fame Shootout. It will be held in the Yum! Center, which is Louisville’s home court. It will serve as the final nonconference game on Louisville’s schedule before it beings ACC play for the first time.
A portion of the proceeds from the game will go to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. The time of the game will be announced at a later date, but it will be aired on ESPN2.
Kentucky has won six of the last seven meetings between these two teams.
