Can Louisville snag a top 2016 point guard?

Texas 5-star guard De'Aaron Fox took an official visit to Louisville in late September. The Cardinals are hopeful to have a shot of signing the elite 5-star point guard, but are doing battle with the likes of Kansas and Kentucky (ACCSports.com image)

For the last month, very little surrounding Louisville’s men’s basketball program has been able to overshadow the remarkable allegations made by Katina Powell in “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen,” written by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Dick Cady.

That even includes a recent commitment, as on Oct. 20, the Cardinals snagged a pledge from Frankie Hughes, a native of Cleveland, Ohio.
