Louisville heads into football season in pretty good shape on the recruiting front, with 18 commitments so far in the class of 2016.
Broken down by position, the Cardinals have two quarterback commitments, four wide receivers, a tight end, a running back, two offensive linemen, three defensive linemen, two linebackers, two defensive backs, and a kicker.
Despite the balance that the 2016 Louisville class currently has — with commitments at essentially every position on the field, including kicker — the Cardinals’ coaching staff still has multiple needs. And they’re looking to host several official visitors this fall, and into the winter, as they look to put the finishing touches on yet another solid signing class.
