Tw more rising sophomores at Wake Forest has entered the NCAA transfer portal: forward Ismael Massoud and center Ody Oguama. Similar to guard Jahcobi Nearth, who went into the portal on Tuesday this week, Oguama will consider a return to Wake Forest.
Oguama’s decision to enter the portal came on the same day that Wake Forest hired Steve Forbes as its new coach.
As a freshman, Oguama played in 31 games (24 starts) and averaged 2.9 points and 3.9 rebounds.
Wake Forest freshman Ody Oguama will put his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal, a source tells @247Sports. Oguama is going to leave open the option to return.

The 6-foot-8 Massoud was an interesting prospect, too. Massoud brought height and movement shooting to Wake Forest’s lineup (39.8 3P%).
UPDATE: Both Oguama and Massoud will return to Wake Forest for their sophomore seasons. Conor O’Neill of the Winston-Salem Journal notes that Massoud never officially entered the transfer portal.
