In an offseason of massive change to the Wake Forest roster, is Danny Manning still looking for players?
The Deacons currently have 11 scholarship players on their roster, and they’re hoping that rising senior Bryant Crawford will be the 12th. Crawford declared for the NBA Draft, but did not hire an agent. He has until May 30 to remove his name.
Things have been extremely quiet from Crawford, who also could be examining overseas possibilities, so it’s unclear what his decision will be. He was not included in the players who were asked to participate in the NBA Draft Combine.
So Manning has at least one scholarship (assuming he doesn’t give one to Sunday Okeke, who was a preferred walk-on last season) or two, if Crawford doesn’t return.
