Tony Elliott and Virginia football added an excellent veteran defender on Friday: Miami (Ohio) edge rusher Kam Butler.
During his four-year career at Miami (Ohio) Bulter appeared in 40 games; he recorded 8.0 sacks in the 2021 season. He was named First Team All-MAC.
In terms of experience and performance, Butler is a big-time addition to the defensive line room at Virginia.

Back in the 2019 season, Butler started all 14 games for the Redhawks: 45 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. Butler was named Second Team All-MAC.
