Will Bettridge, one of the top kickers in the 2022 recruiting class, will head to Virginia. On Thursday, the 5-foot-11 kicker committed to UVA — over Georgia Tech, LSU and Michigan.
Florida State, Florida and South Carolina were also interested in Bettridge, who ranks as the No. 3 kicker in the 2022 class, per 247 Sports.

During his three-year career for Gulliver Prep in Florida, Bettridge has connected on 113-of-119 extra point attempts (94.9 percent) and 20-of-27 field goal attempts (74.1 percent), according to Max Preps.
Bettridge took an official visit to Charlottesville in late June. He joins what’s shaping up to be a very strong recruiting class for Bronco Mendenhall in 2022. The Cavaliers are up to 10 2022 commitments.
