UVA’s Tony Bennett: “It’s not the way I would’ve chosen, but it’s my path”

Virginia basketball coach Tony Bennett joined The David Glenn Show in Charlotte at ACC Operation Basketball. Back at Spectrum Center — the site of Virginia’s stunning NCAA Tournament loss to UMBC — Bennett and DG discuss that defeat, and how the team has grown from the experience — “That was humbling and it stung, and it still stings, to an extent.”

Plus, there’s plenty more, too: recruiting stories that involve Lady Gaga, praise from ACC colleagues and why the UVA job appealed to Bennett a decade ago: “That’s one of the reasons I was drawn to this league: to try to test your program against the best.”
