According to multiple reports now, NC State has agreed to a contract extension with basketball coach Kevin Keatts. In his second season with the Wolfpack, Keatts has gone 29-13 (69 percent win rate). Currently, NC State is 8-1 on the season; on the horizon, big matchups with Penn State and Auburn remain before conference play starts.
New contract for NC State's Kevin Keatts: six-year deal through 2023-24 that increases his compensation to $2.7 million a year, an increase of $400,000.

When Keatts arrived in Raleigh, the offense was destined to increase its pace. That go-go approach to offense has worked, too; this 2018-19 NC State team ranks inside the top 20 in both average time of possession on offense and adjusted offensive efficiency, per KenPom.
