Following three straight wins, including most recently over neighborhood rival Duke, NC State is now 4-1 on the season. NC State has emerged as a top-30 team on both sides of the ball; the Wolfpack also landed in the AP Top 25 for the first time since the 2018 season.
However, as NC State gets ready for a top-25 showdown with UNC, the Pack must go forward without starting quarterback Devin Leary, injured against Duke. With Leary out for 4-8 weeks, Bailey Hockman takes over again as QB1.
