NC State adds two DL commitments over weekend: Nick Booker-Brown, Claude Larkins

Over the final weekend in January, NC State landed two key commitments — both on the defensive line. On Sunday (Jan. 26), two 3-star defensive linemen committed to NC State: Claude Larkins and Nick Booker-Brown — 2020 prospects.

Larkins is a 6-foot-4 defensive end from Florida; Booker-Brown, who hails from Texas, is listed as a 6-foot-1 defensive tackle. Both players took official visits to the university over the weekend, too.

Booker-Brown held offers from Boise State and Colorado, while Larkins picked the Pack over Indiana, Minnesota and UCF.

This is potentially good news for Dave Doeren and NC State as the Wolfpack may lose two defensive linemen from the 2019 roster to the NCAA transfer portal.
