After leading Carolina Football to a resurgent season in 2019, Mack Brown has agreed to a one-year contract extension with UNC. Brown is signed through the 2024 season, now. The Tar Heels went 6-6 in Brown’s first season back at North Carolina, and qualified for their first bowl game since the 2016 season.
UNC, led by All-ACC quarterback Sam Howell, will take on Temple in the 2019 Military Bowl. The game will take place on Dec. 27, with kickoff time set for 12 p.m. ESPN will broadcast the game.
Mack Brown on signing a 1-year extension that will keep him at UNC through 2024: “North Carolina is a wonderful place and everyone can tell we’re building something special here. I love our staff and these kids, and I’m planning on being here for a long, long time.”
