After a season-opening loss at Cal, which saw his once-powerful offense sputter, Larry Fedora joined the David Glenn Show. Fedora and North Carolina will look to get back in the win column this Saturday at East Carolina — another program that’s struggling.
It’s an interesting time for UNC football and Fedora, who drew headlines this summer for some colorful comments. This week’s game against ECU is critical — perhaps even a must-win; going back to the 2016 season, UNC is just 3-12 in its last 15 games.
The last time UNC played at ECU, the Tar Heels lost 70-41 and gave up nearly 800 total yards of offense; however, as Fedora conveyed to DG: he remembers nothing from that game.
Fedora, on what he remembers of UNC's last trip to Greenville (2014): "I don't remember a thing about it."
DG: Seriously? How could you completely forget (a 70-41 ECU victory) something like that? Or are you joking?
Fedora: I'm serious.
DG: I don't believe you.
Fedora: That's OK.— David Glenn Show (@DavidGlennShow) September 5, 2018
