UNC scratching and clawing to address top recruiting need

Elijah Hood’s performance in UNC’s 48-20 victory over Georgia Tech was significant.

His 14 yards per carry in a 168-yard, three-touchdown outing made for his best game of the season. Perhaps more importantly, though, it coud have a positive impact on his NFL stock.

Hood will have a difficult decision to make after the season: declare himself eligible for the 2017 NFL Draft, or return to UNC for his senior year.
