UNC continues influx of talent with CB commit

For the third time in as many days, North Carolina has added a new football commitment.

According to InsideCarolina.com, 2017 cornerback Traivon Leonard flipped from Florida Atlantic to UNC on Monday. He joins a Tar Heel class that also added Montgomery, Ala., offensive lineman Brian Anderson and Clarskville, Tenn., cornerback Caleb Rozar on Saturday.

A native of West Palm Beach, Fla., Leonard is ranked the No. 181 corner in his class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. A 6-0, 188-pound prospect, he originally committed to the Owls in December.

The Tar Heels now have 11 players in their 2017 class, which ranks No. 17 in the country, per the 247Sports composite index.
