North Carolina continued to build its 2017 class over the weekend by securing a commitment from linebacker Malik Robinson, and the Tar Heels also added to their 2016 group by nabbing junior college cornerback Robert Morgan.
Robinson, who hails from Snellville, Georgia, is the first player at his position to pledge to UNC this cycle. A 6-0, 212-pound prospect, he is rated the No. 29 inside linebacker in his class according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Morgan, who is 5-11 and 185 pounds, will add to a UNC 2016 class that’s already deep in the secondary.
After playing the last two seasons at Pasadena City College, Morgan will be eligible to play this coming season. He’ll have three seasons to play two.
