Tony Bradley to stay in the NBA Draft

North Carolina freshman center Tony Bradley will remain in this year’s NBA Draft, according to The Vertical. He will become the Tar Heels’ first one-and-done player since Brandan Wright in 2007.

Bradley averaged 7.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game this past season. DraftExpress lists him as the No. 42 pick in its most recent mock draft.

The Bartow, Fla., native arrived in Chapel Hill last summer as part of the program’s 2016 recruiting class. The former 5-star recruit made an immediate impact, notching double figures in scoring in each of his first six games.

Bradley played in 38 contests, serving as a backup to starting center Kennedy Meeks. The freshman saw 18 minutes in last month’s national title game, posting five points and seven rebounds.
