Losses on the road to ACC stalwarts Florida State and Clemson have tripped up Notre Dame’s College Football Playoff hopes in each of the last two seasons. This fall, however, the Fighting Irish avoid both the Seminoles and the Tigers, as they’ll face a manageable slate of ACC contests, including home games against Coastal Division rivals Duke, Miami, and Virginia Tech, a road game at N.C. State and a neutral-site contest with Syracuse at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
