Louisville taps into Georgia again for newest commitment

Louisville’s football program got back on the board on July 3, as the Cardinals received a commitment from Kam Jones of Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Ga. Jones is a versatile talent who has played defensive end at the high school level but projects as a linebacker with his future school.

The 6-1, 220-pound Peach State defender took a visit to Louisville in mid-April and elected to join the program’s 2017 class in an online video. He chose the Cardinals over other Power 5 programs, including Mississippi State and Northwestern.
