Louisville added one of the top overall prospects in the state of Kentucky to its 2017 class on Sunday when Belfry offensive lineman Cole Bentley committed to the Cardinals:

A 6-5, 290-pound prospect, Bentley is ranked the No. 35 offensive guard in his class and the No. 3 rising senior in his state, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is one of eight players committed to Louisville’s 2017 group.
With Bentley on board, the Cardinals’ 2017 class is ranked No. 44 in the country, per the 247Sports composite index.
