One of the bombshell revelations from today’s Yahoo Sports report on the FBI’s investigation into corruption is major college basketball: the involvement of former NC State guard Dennis Smith Jr.
In the discovery, documents allege that Smith owed over $73,000 in loans he received from sports agent Andy Miller’s company ASM.
Early in his Friday afternoon show, David Glenn explained why the allegations that surround Smith and NC State are so damning.
Later, DG explained what could be on the horizon for NC State as this case progresses: “Your school can be sanctioned even if a coach wasn’t involved, an assistant coach wasn’t involved, you tried to do all the right things, but one of your players had his hand out.”
