A few hours after teammate Tony Bradley declared for the draft, news broke that North Carolina’s Theo Pinson has decided to follow suit. Like Bradley, Pinson has not hired an agent.
Pinson, a 6-6 wing, averaged 6.1 points and a team-leading 3.7 assists.
Because all three player have decided to not hire an agent, they have until May 24 (the NCAA’s deadline) to remove their names from the draft pool — around 10 days after the draft combine. The NBA’s official deadline to withdraw is June 12, however.
